MEDICALKOREA Foreign Patient Attraction Information System (KHIDI)
Korean-language information system operated by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (한국보건산업진흥원) for the registration of medical institutions and agents that attract foreign patients. The site states that institutions wishing to attract foreign patients must register, and that local provincial governments handle registration enquiries. Its home page offers a registered-institution search by business registration number and a status search by institution name, type and region.
Scope of authority
Registered foreign-patient-attraction medical institutions and agents (유치기관) in South Korea
How to check a licence
- Open the home page and use the 등록기관 조회 box: '조회하실 기관의 사업자등록번호를 입력해 주세요.' Enter the 사업자등록번호 (business registration number) in three boxes (3 digits - 2 digits - 5 digits), then press '등록기관 조회'.
- Result table columns: 상호명 (name), 구분 (type), 사업자등록번호, 주소 (address). If nothing matches the page shows '입력하신 사업자등록번호와 일치하는 기업정보가 없습니다.' (no matching entity).
- Alternative: 유치기관 현황조회 — 'enter the institution name; leave blank to list all registered institutions'. Filters: 유치기관 구분 (전체 / 의료기관 / 유치사업자), 지역 (region radio buttons), plus a registration-number field ('기관 등록번호 ... 마지막 4자리를 입력'). An Excel download of the results exists in the page script.
- A separate 평가인증기관현황 (accreditation status) search is also on the page.
- Language: Korean
- Covers: facilities
The page is Korean-only; search needs the clinic's business registration number or its Korean name.
