Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)

The Professional Regulation Commission is the national government agency that administers, implements and enforces the regulatory laws and policies for the country's regulated professions, including medicine and dentistry. Physicians and dentists are licensed through the Professional Regulatory Board of Medicine and the Professional Regulatory Board of Dentistry, which operate under the PRC.

Scope of authority

Licenses and registers professionals across the Philippines' regulated professions, including physicians (Board of Medicine) and dentists (Board of Dentistry); administers licensure examinations and maintains the register of licensed professionals. It does not license health facilities.
