General Council of Dentists of Spain
National coordinating body for Spain's regional dental colleges (Consejo General de Colegios Oficiales de Odontólogos y Estomatólogos). All dentists practising in Spain must be members of their regional college; the national council sets ethics rules and publishes the aggregate member directory.
How to check a licence
- Open 'Directorio Profesional de Dentistas' and click 'Acceder' (menu: Inicio, Colegiados, Sociedades profesionales, Contacto)
- Or use 'Ver listado completo de Colegiados' / 'Listado completo' (page shows 'Total de dentistas colegiados: 45633' at fetch time)
- The 'Clínicas dentales' box links 'Registro General de centros, servicios y establecimientos sanitarios' via 'Ir al registro'
- Page note: 'Si desea total garantía, deberá contactar con el Colegio correspondiente' and 'Contacte con su colegio profesional' if a dentist is missing
