Licence and use
The registry’s compilation and its own collections are published under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0. You may share and adapt them, including commercially, provided you credit The Treatment Registry (thetreatmentregistry.com) and license derivatives under the same terms. That licence covers the compilation only. Rows that originate with a third party keep the licence of their source; it is not replaced by CC BY-SA.
Third-party-derived collections and their source licences:
- Device safety notices — openFDA, public domain (Public Domain Mark 1.0); MHRA, Open Government Licence v3.0.
- Travel advice — FCDO, Open Government Licence v3.0; CDC, public domain. The CDC “destination” rows are bare pointers to CDC pages (links we constructed); they carry no CDC text.
- Complication literature — Europe PMC metadata; each paper remains under its publisher’s terms.
- Country health statistics — World Bank, CC BY 4.0.
The combined registry.json and registry.csv exclude these collections.
Display and research use only. Not for clinical or financial decisions. Source-level citations are in the sources collection. Where a field is derived from an external source, that source is recorded in the sources collection and referenced by slug elsewhere in the data.
