ACHSI

ACHSI is the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHS International), the international arm of the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS). ACHS describes itself as an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving quality in health care, and says it has been developing standards for healthcare since 1974. ACHS International describes itself as a healthcare quality improvement partner to organisations around the world. Its accreditation programme assesses an organisation against the EQuIP7 Standards, followed up annually over a three-year cycle.
